It’s hard to believe how cold it was on that day in February when Mr Anthony Pearson, aka Dank Spangle did our first Linarol Consort photoshoot. Wrapped in coats, scarves, hats and gloves we posed on Worcester Racecourse. Mr P dared us not to move for his signature stereographic shots by his favourite tree.

After a quick warming cuppa at Waterworks Road we explored the grunge aesthetic of Shrub Hill Station and its surrounds.

After lunch and a quick clothes change a visit to Worcester Cathedral for some classy shots. Doesn’t the purple contrast brilliantly with Richard Jones’ beautiful viols?!

We discovered that Prince Arthur’s tomb made a perfect place on which to hang instruments and to be photographed hanging out of.

And some individual photos before visiting the crypt: now that would make a perfect place for a renaissance viol concert.

During such a hot summer I feel cool just looking at these pictures from the crypt.
Thank you Mr P, Anthony, Dank Spangle for taking these amazing images – do have a look at his website for further information and how to buy prints.
