Shipwreck

Sunday December 7th, 3pm: Huntingdon Hall Worcester WR1 3LD Worcester Concert Club

Telling the story of a truly dramatic event: a shipwreck that led to a chance meeting between Henry VII of England and Philip the Handsome of Burgundy. The programme follows the story of the adventure and includes music by three composers who were on the voyage with Philip (Pierre de la Rue, Marbrianus de Orto and Johannes de Stokem) as well as Josquin des Prez and Henry VIII.
