Holland House

We are running our fourth Linarol Consort Renaissance Course at the beautiful Holland House in Pershore, Worcestershire.

September 22nd – September 26th 2025

The course is for players of Renaissance viols and Renaissance recorders and is tutored by David Hatcher and Alison Kinder, assisted (if application numbers permit) by Claire Horáček and Timothy Lin. There is significant opportunity to play from facsimile should you wish to, both at an advanced level (with David!) and also as a friendly introduction / trying it out a bit (with Ali!). Or you can play from modern notation all week and no one will mind. If you don’t own a Renaissance viol don’t worry as we have a number that we are happy to lend.

A typical day will have two coached sessions in the morning, free time after lunch, and two further coached sessions before and after supper.
